Native audio calling

Native audio calling

 

Call option allows calling a chat-room participant or a group of chat room participants.

 

Native audio calling in private chat rooms

 

When a person initiated a call another person gets a sound and visual notification. To make a call you need to:

 

1.Click "Call" icon in user profile menu or next to the intercom

2.To accept the call the chat-room participant should click "Accept" button

3.Click "Decline" icon to stop the call

Native audio calling should be used when you need to call another user to their mobile phone.

Once you start a call you will see "Dialing" status on your phone:

As soon as the call has been accepted the duration of the conversation will start counting out:

Native audio calling in group chat rooms

 

Virola supports an option of group chat room calls. To call a group of user in a group chat room a user needs to:

 

1.Click "Call" icon next to the intercom

2.Select online users you are going to call

3.Start a call by clicking "Call" button

4.All users will get a notification about an incoming call.

5.After accepting the call, all users in a group call will see who is in a group call:

6.If you switch to chat during the call, intercom will appear to allow activating / deactivating headphones, camera, microphone and screen recording
