- the right sidebar with all participants' avatars or camera streams
- the central chat area, which may include either chat text or active screen sharing / remote control streams.
The recording does not include your chatroom list on the left, keeping it private. It also does not include detached windows with chat text, screen sharing or remote control streams.
How to rename the recorded file
By default the name for your recorded file includes current date and time values. However, you have an option to assign a more descriptive title directly within Virola's chat room. To do this, simply right-click on the file, select "Rename Attachment", enter your preferred name, and confirm by clicking on "Rename."
Why you should record you meeting
Details are important and after a great and informative meeting it will be very useful to keep the recording and get back to it later. Most professionals got used to taking detailed notes so that they can recall the information later. However, with today's advancements in technology, recording a conference is easier than ever. You just need to click a recording button and stop the recording after the conference has finished. Here are the main reasons why you need to start recording your meetings:
- Improve the way you speak and handle yourself
- Have a reliable source of information to go back to
- Keep co-workers in the loop in case they missed the meeting
- Keep track of important project related discussions
In many situations recording will not only facilitate the process of analyzing information shared during the meeting but will also help clear up any confusion between you and other participants. It's a reliable source of truth for what was decided during the meeting. Recording is one of the most helpful ways to take the most out of the conversations.
