How to deploy Virola server on Linode
Linode is one of the most distributed cloud hosting platforms. It makes Linux virtual machines, affordable, simple, and accessible to all. It will take a couple of minutes to deploy the Virola server on Linode virtual hosting. Thus, if you do not have your in-house infrastructure, you can use Linode and deploy your server applications there.
Linux hosting is more flexible than Windows hosting. For most users, Ubuntu Server or CentOS/AlmaLinux/Rocky Linux would be the best choices due to their balance of ease of use, stability, and community support.
Why is Linux the best choice for your server?
Here are five reasons why you should select a Linux virtual machine for hosting your server applications:
- It is open source and provides customization flexibility
- It is stable, reliable and secure
- Linux hosting is cost-effective compared to other operating systems
- It is scalable for handling large amounts of data and traffic
- It has robust community support and resources
