Test Virola before deployment
If you want to start chatting right away and explore Virola's features, you can use the Demo Workspace without setting up your own server.
First, install the Virola Client from the Downloads page.
Then click the button below
Join Virola demoYou will be prompted to create a username and password to join.
After logging in, you will automatically join a Virola workspace hosted on our server, so no additional setup is required.

You've entered the Virola Demo Workspace. What's next?
After logging in, you will enter the following workspace:
Chat rooms
This is the list of chat rooms you have been automatically added to. Click any room to view messages. Some rooms are read-only, while others are open for testing.
Feel free to type anything, from random messages to questions to our team. This space is meant for experimentation.
Messages & input field
Here you can see all messages in the selected chat room, along with the text input field at the bottom.
On the right side of the input field, you will find options for message type, priority, and formatting. Try them out.
Participants
This is the list of participants. Some are Virola team members, while others are users who joined the demo workspace earlier. The green checkmark indicates who is currently online.
You can expand the participant list by dragging the divider to see more users. Click on a user's avatar to view their profile details. You can also click your own avatar to open your profile.
Your profile
This is your avatar, which shows your online status by default.
You can change your status by clicking on it. Clicking the cogwheel icon will open additional Virola settings - feel free to explore them.
Intercom control
This is your intercom panel. Here you can enable your microphone, headphones, camera, or start screen sharing.
When you turn the intercom on, a headphone and an eye indicator will appear on your avatar. Headphones indicate that you started listening, while the eye icon means you can view others' video streams. You can toggle these at any time.

Please note
Users in the demo workspace do not have admin rights. This means some administrative features are not visible here, but you will have full access to them after deploying Virola on your own server.
