Virola Messenger version 2 is a new redesigned Virola self-hosted messenger which is going to replace version 1. This new Virola offers numerous visible and invisible improvements that aim to make your Virola experience better.

Virola v2 Server and Client apps are not compatible with the Virola v1 Server and Client apps. We recommend upgrading your server and then client apps to start using new features.

Redesigned meeting rooms sidebar

Redesigned meeting rooms sidebar allows to:

• Better understand who is currently available
• Clearly see who is speaking during voice meetings
• See high quality video during video meetings and adjust the video size by resizing the sidebar
