Application profiles
All your communications in one tool
Have you ever imagined that you can have your corporate chat, friends and family, and your hobby community in the same application but safely separated? With Virola application profiles you can have this!
Virola application profile is a separate set of settings, including login data, notifications configuration, etc. Each profile opens in a separate application tab, and you can see the profile status and the number of unread messages in this particular profile on its tab.
Virola client allows creating unlimited number of application profiles. As a result you will stay connected to as many Virola servers as you need.
Managing application profiles
To open the application profiles manager click "hamburger" icon at the right of your avatar and status, and choose Application Profiles.
You can also open it via the main menu File -> Application Profiles.
To create a new application profile press "Create profile for another account" button in the profiles manager, choose the profile name and press "Create Profile" button.
The new profile will be added to the profile manager and will be also opened in the application. You'll be able to enter your credentials and login.
There are several ways to open the profile options:
- for an active profile - use the "gear" icon at the right of your avatar and status
- for any profile - right click the profile in the profiles manager and press "Options..." button
Use toggle buttons in the profiles manager to open and close profiles. Another option to close profile is to right click its application tab and choose "Close",
To remove a profile permanently, right click it in the profiles manager and choose "Delete"
