The user self-registration option allows users to create their profiles on your server. This feature is convenient if you do not want to create numerous user profiles manually or if you wish to invite a large community of members to join your server.

By default, the self-registration option is disabled in Virola Server. To enable it, log in to Virola Client as the server admin and use the Administration / User Self-Registration menu item:

After enabling self-registration, provide your potential users with your server host and port information.

To self-register, users should choose the "Register" item on the login form:

LaTeX allows you to display formulas and format texts at any level of complexity.

We have added LaTeX markup support to messages in Virola. To create a message in LaTeX format, change the message type above the message input field to "Latex" and enter the text in LaTeX format:
